Are diagnostics really free?
Yes. Strip-down, measurements and fault-finding cost nothing, even if you turn the repair down. You only pay for work you have agreed to. The one exception is liquid damage that needs an ultrasonic bath — we tell you before we start.
What if it can't be repaired?
We say so plainly and don't charge for diagnostics. We'll offer two options: sourcing a donor unit, which is sometimes cheaper than a repair, or buying the console for parts if that interests you.
What warranty do I get?
90 days on labour and on the part we fitted. You get a receipt and a warranty card. If the fault comes back, we redo the work free of charge — no argument about who is to blame.
Can I send a console from another city?
Yes — DHL or DPD to our address. Pack it in a rigid box with padding and insure it for its full value. We ship it back the same way; return shipping is paid by the customer.
Do you take consoles other shops have worked on?
We do, and about a third of our jobs arrive that way. Fair warning: if the board has already been reflowed or pads are lifted, the time and the price can go up. We discuss all of that after diagnostics, before any work starts.
How long does it take?
Around 80% of repairs are done in one or two days. Complex cases — power circuits, liquid damage, donor hunting — take three to seven. We give you the exact turnaround at diagnostics and put it in the order.
